General FAQ’s

Can I bring a lawn chair?

Yes, we encourage lawn chairs for viewing and hanging between acts! LOW BACK, folding, camping or beach chairs.

Can I bring an Umbrella, Tent or Parasol?

We kindly ask that you leave your umbrella & tent at home so you don’t block your partners view! Small Parasols are ok to shade from the sun.

What size backpack can I bring?

A medium backpack should be no bigger than 18″ tall, 13″ wide and 8″ thick packed. Bags will have to fit into a box of that size (similar to the system used at airports). If your bag doesn’t fit in the box, it won’t be allowed inside the venue.

What will the weather be like?

The festival is on rain or shine but we typically lucky in Whitefish during these months with lots of sunshine. We suggest bringing a jacket for the evening and supportive footwear. Hats and shades always a good idea!

Do I need my ticket both days?

Yes, you will need to present and scan your printed tickets both days in order to be allowed into the festival.

Can I smoke or vape at UTBS?

Please no cigarettes. E-cigs or vapes only. Our ranch and neighbors thank you!

Is there re-entry?

We have staff and volunteers who can absolutely walk you out – but we do not allow re-entry! *There will be exceptions for families with small children*

Is there disability access at the Festival?

Our goal is to ensure everyone who attends the UTBS has a positive experience. We have several ADA entrances and viewing locations to ensure our ADA fans are able to enjoy their time on the ranch. *ADA Parking will be located in the VIP Parking lot*

Safety first right? How do I know I’ll be safe while I’m at the Ranch?

Yes. We have numerous amounts of trained security guards as well as various officers at and around the entire event.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, & Cash. ATMs will be located around the venue.

Do I have to bring an ID?

You MUST have a valid Government form of ID to enter the festival (ID, Drivers License, or Passport). We’ll send a reminder of this prior to the festival – but please don’t wait until the week of to lose your forms of ID – we CANNOT guarantee entry without proper identification! See below for a list of acceptable ID’s below.

  • Any US government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth
  • US or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth
  • Foreign government-issued driver’s license/ID with color photocopy of passport (not valid for 21+ wristband. To purchase alcohol or enter VIP areas, a physical passport or US ID will be required.)
  • Temporary DMV documents proving you are currently renewing a license — ONLY if accompanied by passport or expired license

I would love to take something home with me from UTBS, will merch be available?

Exclusive UTBS merch will be available at our merch tent near the entrance!

Will there be Vegan friendly food at the festival?

Yes. We have a wide assortment of food including vegan and vegetarian options. If you have dietary restrictions and need to bring in outside food, our security guards will be happy to help approve items upon arrival.

If I lose something, where can I find it?

Lost and found is located next to the Merchandise Booth at the festival. If your items do not turn up the weekend of the festival, we will keep items with us and provide a link to place a claim on our website. You can return any lost items directly to our ‘Lost & Found’ kiosk and visit to inquire after your missing items. Please only give items you find to the Lost & Found directly. Do not hand over items to random staff or guards.

Will there be first aid stations?

Yes. First aid stations will be clearly indicated on site and marked both on your festival map.

Can I bring my medication or insulin?

Medical prescriptions must be approved by Festival staff and in their original containers with labels that match the holder’s legal ID. If you require insulin, please identify yourself to security before entering the venue. Security will locate medical staff to assist you in providing a secure area to store your insulin.Please reach out prior to the festival if you require approval for medical [email protected]

Are there refillable water stations?

Yes. There is a free water refill station located in the middle of the festival. You can also buy bottled water at any bar/beverage kiosk inside.

What Can I bring?

We want to ensure that your time at the ranch is comfortable and safe. Here’s what you can bring:

  • Cell phones
  • Non-professional cameras
  • Medium backpacks/purses (18x13x8 or smaller)
  • Blankets/towels
  • Sunscreen (contents to be checked at entry, limited to 4oz)
  • Sealed gum
  • Sealed chapstick

  • Empty 24oz (or less reusable water bottle)

  • GoPros (w/o sticks)

  • CamelBaks / bladders (water stations provided + one empty 24oz (or less) empty reusable water bottles (Please make sure your bottle is EMPTY to expedite entry into the festival)
